The contest officially starts Monday, February 2, 2026 at 9:00 am ET and runs until Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The contest is open to entrants from anywhere in the world, with the winning slogan helping to inform workshop themes, merchandise, and marketing designs for the 2026 festival.
Voted on by the Live from the Rock Blues & Folk Society Board of Directors and festival marketing coordinators, the slogan that receives the most votes will earn the winner two weekend passes to the 2026 festival, taking place in Red Rock, ON, on the beautiful shore of Lake Superior. The winner will be announced on Saturday, February 28, 2026, on the festival’s social media channels.
Dream up something special with your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day or get the whole gang thinking about it on Family Day. Send in one or send in half a dozen but be creative and have some fun. Slogans do not need to contain the word “folk”
