Other Activities

In addition to world class live music, Live from the Rock hosts other activities throughout festival weekend. Check your program book to find out more about all the extras the weekend has to offer.

Get a brief look at these activities below.

Campfire Jams

After the Festival Stage closes for the night, campers are invited to join in the revelry out on the point (past the marina) at the nightly campfires. Bring your enthusiasm, your voice, an instrument and a friend. The campfire is a magical way to experience music up close and personal. There are two separate campfires on the point; at the “Shush” campfire attendees are asked to honour the music and fellow players by listening quietly and respecting the designated campfire host each night. The “Non-shush” campfire provides a more casual atmosphere for attendees to socialize while music is being played. Take your pick or go back and forth between the two. Enjoy!

Acoustic Song Circle

Grab your instrument and join the late afternoon Acoustic Song Circles held on the grassy area behind Main Gate. This is another opportunity to participate in song sharing and music creation with other festival goers as well as performers. Bring a chair, an instrument and some of your favourite tunes.

Friday & Saturday – 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Please bring your own yoga mat, camping mat, blanket or something similar, so that you will be more comfortable. Participation is open to all ages and abilities, free of charge.
